Self-Pour Beer and Wine Coming Soon to Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL
Naperville, IL. January 2023. Tapville Social, a cutting-edge food and beverage franchising concept, is thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of a “Drink While You Shop” location in Schaumburg’s Woodfield Mall. On September 13, 2022, the village of Schaumburg’s Board of Trustees passed Ordinance No 22-065, which amends Title 11 of the Village Code and allows for the issuance of a new Class F1-S Liquor license. This license permits self-service and self-pouring of beer, wine, and cider, making Tapville Social the first establishment at Woodfield Mall to offer this unique experience.
The upcoming Tapville Social location will be strategically positioned in the Dining Pavilion on the upper level of Woodfield Mall, the premier shopping and entertainment center in the area.
The new Tapville Social location at Woodfield Mall will feature a unique self-serve kiosk with RFID-enabled taps, enabling guests to pour their own drinks without the need to wait for a bartender. Once guests check in and receive a "Pour Pass," they can activate the taps and keep track of their tab, which is linked to their credit card and allows them to pay only for the drinks they pour. In addition to the self-serve beer and wine, Tapville Social will also offer a variety of other drink options, including mimosas, frozen cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, providing guests with a wide range of choices for their dining and drinking experience.
Tapville location in Orlando, FL is similar to Woodfield location.
At Tapville, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of delicious bites menu options, such as Buffalo Chicken Empanadas, to complement the extensive beverage offerings. The bites menu will provide an array of delicious options to enjoy while sampling the locally curated selection of craft beer, wine, and cider products from the self-serve tap wall or sipping on one of Tapville's signature flights.
Tapville Social at Woodfield Mall opens in February 2023.
